As a labor organization, when we found the need to hire a full-scope building contractor, we needed a contractor that was dedicated to union labor, Pumford fit the bill, completing our projects with over 95% union labor. Over the last three years we have had Pumford Construction complete three separate projects: a small office remodel, an existing facility build out, and a new construction project. Although each job was of varying size and complexity, and certainly not among Pumford’s largest jobs at the time, Pumford approached each of our jobs as if we were their only and best customer. From conceptual discussion, and from design through final construction, the people of Pumford Construction treated our project as if it was their most important job. Pumford’s employees and sub-contractors are professional and courteous, during each project we continued business and it was as if they were never there. Each project was brought in on budget and on time, all the while, Pumford was responsive to any changes or additions we made along the way. In a very competitive industry we have built a relationship with Pumford Construction that transcends the bid price, the cheapest isn’t always the best, with Pumford you definitely get what you pay for.
